About the position

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a man living in Uppsala. The position is a hourly employment for work on an as-needed basis and when regular staff is absent. Your duties will include helping with toilet visits, light cleaning, cooking, doing dishes, assisting with personal hygiene, laundry, and ensuring the customer's home environment looks tidy. This customer is very active. He enjoys swimming, going to the cinema, cycling, bowling, and going into town for coffee. The customer also attends day activities on weekdays.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 15:00 - 23:00,
• 23:00 - 00:00,
• 00:00 - 08:00. There is approx. 6.5 hours of waiting time/night.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a secure and meaningful everyday life for our customer. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person who is sensitive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. You also need to be stable, serious, reliable, and honest with and towards this customer. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the customer. This may become decisive in the final selection.

Requirements for you

• Have care experience,
• Are a non-smoker,
• Can swim, tolerate chlorine, and can participate in activities involving swimming.

Merits if you

• Have completed a care-related education,
• Hold a B-driver's license and have access to a car.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register control will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
