We are now looking for a Personal Assistant to work with a cheerful young man in Almunge

About the client:

He is an adult, but has the mind of a child.

He has cerebral palsy and a developmental disability and needs help with everything in daily life. This includes assistance with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, eating meals (both solid food and sometimes tube feeding), and accompanying him to various leisure activities.

He enjoys people, appreciates laughter and music.

He does not speak verbally, but communicates how he is feeling and what he wants through body language.

About the job:

We are looking for hourly substitutes starting immediately, and after the summer, we also have a part-time position (65%) available for a longer parental leave.

The workplace is in his own home, a house in Almunge. Good bus connections are available from Uppsala.

Working hours are 15:30–08:00 on weekdays and 10:00–22:00 on weekends. Waiting periods occur during the night.

About you:

You are a calm and secure person with your own drive.

You see and take responsibility for what needs to be done.

You have a great ability to put yourself in someone else's situation and perspective.

Experience in healthcare is an advantage, but not a requirement.

The most important thing is that the personal chemistry between you and our client is right.
