Work Supervisor for 'Uppdraget', DeVebo Care – Daily Activities in Uppsala

Do you want to make a difference? DeVebo Omsorg AB operates a LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) daily activity program in Uppsala. We offer 57 places for individuals within target group 1 and work based on our core values: joy in work, community, and individual development.

Do you want to help create meaningful days for participants in the LSS program?

DeVebo Omsorg is now looking for a staff member for Uppdraget, where Animals & Nature, property maintenance, transport, and recycling are in focus – every day is unique.

As a work supervisor, you support participants in their activities and create a secure and developmental environment. The role requires structure, flexibility, patience, and a pedagogical approach. You must have good communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work with a low-affective (calm) demeanor.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is driven, curious, and proactive – you see what needs to be done and act
• Have a genuine interest in working with people with disabilities
• Are creative, receptive, and self-assured
• Enjoy working both independently and in a team
• Have a solution-oriented approach and see opportunities where others see obstacles

Requirements:

• Experience working within the LSS sector
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid Category B driver's license (manual transmission)

Merits:

• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), or AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
