Your responsibilities
At our workplace, we communicate using sign language (for which we offer internal training) or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs. You will be part of a team working together to ensure that every individual has a meaningful occupation and daily routine. Your task is to support the individual in their daily life and assist according to their needs. Additionally, you will help with everyday tasks such as intimate hygiene, medication when necessary, and cleaning. You are also expected to participate in the individual's activities, such as day trips or other events. Collectively, your efforts enable the individual's right to independence and self-determination.
About you
We look for candidates who have completed upper secondary education, preferably within healthcare, social care, childcare, or equivalent. Experience with challenging behaviors and knowledge of low-affective work methods are advantageous. We prefer that you have experience from healthcare and social care and have previously worked with similar tasks. Knowledge of sign language, as well as understanding of disabilities and experience in psychiatry, are advantageous.
As a person, you are considerate and value the well-being of others. You genuinely care about and want to understand other people's feelings and needs. You see possibilities in change and find solutions when situations change. You are relationship-building, create trust, and build good collaborations with both individuals and colleagues. We believe you are reliable, resilient, and able to meet both daily routines and challenges with patience and reflection, while being secure in yourself and having good self-awareness.
Since you document your work, you must also have a good command of the Swedish language.

A prerequisite for employment is that you can provide an extract from the criminal record register and the suspicion register, and that you have a driver's license.
As part of our recruitment process, we use problem-solving ability and personality tests.
