Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are the key to successful assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our head office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are now looking for a reliable assistant for a cheerful and positive wheelchair-using woman in her 60s. We are primarily seeking temporary substitutes available for work during the summer and able to start the introduction period in June. If you wish to continue as a substitute in the autumn, that is also possible. There is also an opportunity to work with several of our clients to increase your working hours.

Working hours: 08:00–20:00 and 19:00–08:00 (awake night).

She needs help with personal care, cooking, cleaning, dressing, hair styling, etc. Assistance devices are available for transfers to and from her wheelchair. Her interests include shopping, interior design, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.

You who apply for this job should have:

• A spark in your eye (enthusiasm and positivity).
• Be attentive and proactive in seeing what needs to be done.
• A driver's license and your own car, as she lives some distance from the bus stop (approx. 5 km).
• Not be allergic to fur-bearing animals, as there are cats in the home.
• Be a calm and reliable person with self-drive.
• Have a strong ability to empathize and put yourself in someone else's situation and perspective.

Experience in healthcare work is meritorious but not a requirement. The most important factor is that the chemistry between you and our client is right.
