Lindö School is located in a beautiful natural setting almost in the middle of the city. We are within walking distance of the sea, the city center, and the fantastic nature. Lindö School has approximately 320 students from preschool class to year 6. Years F-3 and our after-school centers are located on Lindövägen, while years 4-6 are located on Gröndalsvägen.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in mathematics, science, and technology, you will teach students in years 4-6. Together with a colleague, you will serve as a mentor for a year group consisting of two classes. You will be part of a work team with dedicated and competent colleagues, where you jointly take responsibility for teaching and pedagogical work through systematic quality work.

You will plan, implement, evaluate, and document the teaching with the students' learning, safety, and well-being in focus. In your subjects, you will work on developing students' problem-solving skills, logical thinking, investigative approach, and technical understanding. You are responsible for creating a structured, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed and develop based on their prerequisites.

You will also collaborate closely with the school's other teachers and the student health team, as you, as a teacher, play an important role in strengthening students' knowledge development, study skills, and participation in the school's joint work on safety and equity.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and technology for years 4-6. You have good knowledge of the steering documents and the ability to put them into practice. You have the knowledge and ability to adapt your teaching based on the students you meet through a clarifying pedagogy and a special educational approach.

You are a clear, responsible, and engaged educator who, through calm, secure, and conscious leadership, can create good and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike. You have high expectations of the students and a good ability to motivate and inspire them to learn, be curious, and take responsibility.

In the work team, you are a positive force and actively contribute to the school's development work, particularly related to students' knowledge development and safety.

As a result of the law on suitability control, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented upon employment.
