We are looking for both those who can replace regular staff during the summer period and those who want to start working on an hourly basis right now.

LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments)

In Täby Municipality, there are twelve group homes, six service apartments, and day activities for individuals belonging to the LSS target group with intellectual disabilities. Some individuals also have autism and physical disabilities.

At the group homes, support is provided around the clock. At service apartments, individuals have some need for support but can also manage quite a bit on their own. Day activities are available for those who do not have employment on the open labor market.

Social Psychiatry

The municipality's social psychiatry provides support to individuals with psychiatric and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. The goal is to help the individual find ways to achieve better balance and order in life.

We have three residential facilities for approximately 30 individuals. The different facilities have common areas and slightly different degrees of support focus. In addition, approximately 130 individuals receive support in their daily lives in their own apartments through housing support.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in working within LSS and social psychiatry.
  • Has knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD) and is familiar with low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy.
  • Is flexible and engaged.
  • Values collaboration and has a positive attitude.
  • Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • The position requires that you master the Swedish language very well, both in speech and writing. You need to be able to speak, read, document, and understand instructions in Swedish.

Your responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with special needs in their daily lives.
  • Create a safe and developmental environment for our residents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.

No experience is required * but we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To be considered for employment, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) is required; choose "Control of own information".

Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled during the application period.

You must be at least 18 years old.

*For work at the group home on Libbyvägen, a nursing assistant education and experience in medical care are required.
