What does the job as a residential support worker at Frösunda involve?
As a residential support worker, you work at our residences to support, motivate, and stimulate the individual's own ability to perform daily activities. You work to provide each customer with individually adapted support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their daily lives.
Residential support is granted to individuals with various types of disabilities; therefore, the individuals' skills, needs, and development drive our interventions. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.
Tasks for a residential support worker include documentation, drawing up implementation plans, and acting as a contact person.
Examples of day/evening tasks:
- Household chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds
- Documentation and reporting
- Excursions, walks, exercise, and activities
- Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, social presence
- Supporting and motivating the customer to increase independence in daily life
Examples of night tasks:
- Independent work
- Night supervision
- Operational tasks
Working hours are scheduled according to the customers' needs.
- 1 position scheduled during day/evening hours, weekdays and weekends
- 1 position scheduled during night hours (awake night), weekdays and weekends
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.
- Education within healthcare and social services, e.g., nursing assistant education
- Advantageous with LSS focus in nursing assistant education or other relevant educations, e.g., support pedagogy, social pedagogy
- Experience with LSS (Social Services Act for support and service to persons with certain disabilities) is a requirement
- Experience working with clarifying pedagogy
- You are unpretentious and accustomed to working in a team
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required

Additional information
Employment type: Permanent position with an initial probationary period, applies to both positions.
Scope: Night position approx. 65–70%, day/evening position is part-time.
Start date: As soon as possible.
We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
In the event of employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
