The Role
As a Team Leader, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the field operations. You provide close, supportive leadership to the unit's six field workers and youth coach, working to create good conditions for professional, preventive, and outreach work.
In the role of Team Leader, you will among other things:
- Lead and distribute the daily work within the field operations.
- Be a close support to employees in methodological and operational matters.
- Drive development and quality work within the operations.
- Collaborate internally within the different units of the Social Services Administration.
- Collaborate with schools, police, leisure activities, associations, and other partners.
- Participate in the unit's joint development work together with other operations.
- Participate in the outreach work yourself if needed.
The work involves some evening duties, for example at school graduations, Midsummer celebrations, major youth events, or in connection with group activities.

What you need to bring with you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a degree in Social Work or another university-level education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Has documented experience in outreach/preventive work with children and young people.
- Has good knowledge of the Social Services Act and its application.
- Has experience working within the Social Services.
- Has a valid driver's license (Category B).
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience of line management or other leadership roles.
- Experience of collaboration work between different authorities and operations.
- Education in leadership or supervision.
- Experience with scheduling.

Welcome to us
You will be part of a unit that today consists of a Unit Manager, the Family Law Group with a Team Leader, Parent Support including the Family Centre with a Team Leader and field operations, as well as a Youth Coach for young adults aged 16–24 who are outside work or studies, whom you will be responsible for as Team Leader.
Together, we work to strengthen children, young people, and families through early and coordinated interventions.

Employment type, extent, and start
- Employment type: Permanent
- Extent: Full-time
- Start date: As agreed
For this role, the starting salary is normally between 46,000–48,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.
Probationary employment may apply for permanent positions.
