About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Music teacher for the autumn term 2026. The position is a temporary vacancy at 40% (two days per week).
Västra Skolan is an independent primary and lower secondary school for grades 7–9, located in central Kalmar. The school is part of the CIS Group.
We are seeking you who have a strong passion for the subject of music. You are a person with positive expectations and are willing to work hard and purposefully to ensure that every student has the opportunity to become the best version of themselves.
You are humble towards new knowledge and have a desire to constantly develop in your role as a teacher. You prioritize our core values and the well-being of the students. You understand that safety and security are prerequisites for learning, and you do not shy away from taking responsibility in your adult role. Furthermore, you have good self-awareness, are a skilled organizer and communicator, and know how to make the most of the time we spend together with students, guardians, and colleagues.
