To succeed as an Infrastructure Engineer within the Mainframe z/OS Platform and Storage area, you need a broad technical understanding of the z/OS environment combined with a structured and responsible way of working. The role is critical to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical systems.

• Solid experience working with the IBM z/OS platform in a production environment

• Strong understanding of mainframe infrastructure, including CPU, memory, and I/O

• Experience with mainframe storage solutions (e.g., DASD, disk, and volume management)

• Knowledge of SMS (Storage Management Subsystem) and its components

• Experience in capacity planning and performance analysis

• Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions

• Familiarity with z/OS system tools for monitoring and administration
