Interior Architect for Office Projects, Hourly-Based Project Employment

We are now looking for an experienced interior architect who wants to work with us on office projects on an hourly basis within the framework of a project employment.

About the role

As an interior architect at WeOffice, you will work in projects where strategy, analysis, and physical environment meet. You contribute with your expertise in office design, furnishing, material selection, concept development, and visual design.

The role suits you if you have experience with office projects and thrive working closely with customers, project managers, workplace strategists, and suppliers. You must be able to translate needs, working methods, and business requirements into thoughtful, functional, and inspiring office environments.

The scope of assignments may vary over time depending on project needs. The position is hourly-based and linked to specific customer projects.

Examples of tasks

• Develop interior concepts for office environments
• Work with furnishing proposals, layout, material selection, and color schemes
• Create mood boards, presentation materials, and background information for customer dialogue
• Suggest furniture, products, and solutions based on function, quality, aesthetics, sustainability, and budget
• Collaborate with furniture suppliers, architects, project managers, and the customer's internal team
• Contribute to translating workplace strategy and business needs into physical environments
• Participate in projects from early stages to more concrete interior and implementation phases

We are looking for you who

• Have a relevant higher education or university degree in interior architecture, interior architecture and furniture design, spatial design, or a corresponding field. The education should include at least a bachelor's degree, and a master's degree or five-year education is highly meritorious.
• Are an experienced interior architect with a focus on offices and workplaces.
• Have worked with office projects in recent years, preferably larger projects of around 1,000 sqm or more.
• Have good knowledge of furniture suppliers in Sweden and their products.
• Have a good understanding of how modern office environments, hybrid working methods, and activity-based working methods work in practice.
• Are confident in creating visual concepts and presenting solutions to customers.
• Are structured, self-initiating, and accustomed to working in a project-based manner.
• Have good digital skills and master relevant drawing, presentation, or design tools.
• Have good communication skills in Swedish and preferably also in English.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with sustainable and circular furniture solutions, procurement or ordering of furniture, and work in projects where office development is linked to workplace strategy, change management, or organizational development.
• The professional title Architect SIR/MSA or equivalent documented competence.
