Your Role

Do you want to help shape the technical direction for the next generation of unmanned systems? Within Unmanned Systems, we develop autonomous systems and drone technology.

We are now looking for you who want to take responsibility for our functional platform. The role combines Product Owner work in an agile software team with sub-project management for our hardware platforms. It is a broad role that suits you if you thrive in the intersection between technology, product, project, and development teams.

We believe you have a strong interest in technology, good ability to create structure, and experience in technical development where software and electronics meet.

The position is located in our brand new premises in Solna.

Examples of tasks:

• You own, develop, and communicate the technology roadmap for our functional platform.
• You prioritize development efforts based on customer needs, user feedback, technical possibilities, and economics.
• You act as Product Owner in an agile software team and work with backlogs, prioritization, and release planning.
• You coordinate the development of our hardware platforms and drive planning, dependencies, and deliveries related to embedded electronics.
• You engage in dialogue with product management, system management, development teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
• You actively contribute to improving our ways of working within roadmap work, release planning, prioritization, and collaboration between software and hardware.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who like technology, structure, and collaboration. You thrive on creating momentum in complex development and have the ability to switch between strategic choices, practical planning, and dialogue with development teams.

We would like you to:

• Have experience in technical project management, sub-project management, or Product Owner work.
• Have worked with roadmaps, release planning, backlogs, or prioritization in technical development projects.
• Have experience with embedded electronics, hardware-near development, or systems where software and hardware interact.
• Have a strong interest in technology and want to understand how our products and platforms work.
• Are accustomed to weighing customer needs, technical possibilities, schedules, economics, and risks.
• Find it easy to communicate with both technical teams and other stakeholders.
• Want to help develop ways of working, structure, and collaboration in a growing area.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
