We are currently looking for a technically skilled preparer within ship maintenance for a large company in the defense industry.

Here you will have the opportunity to work with technical systems and complex ship environments in a business that plays a vital role in Sweden's defense capability.

This position is for you who are fundamentally a technician, perhaps primarily within electricity or mechanics, and now want to work more with documentation, planning, and coordination rather than "screwing". As a ship preparer, you are responsible for producing, reviewing, and compiling technical documents and work instructions.

Job Description

The work requires good technical understanding and attention to detail. You analyze drawings and system descriptions to convert them into clear work documents.

Examples of tasks:

• Produce technical documents, documentation, and materials.
• Read and interpret drawings, technical documents, and system descriptions.
• Handle ordering documents and coordinate with internal systems, stores, and inventory.
• Act as a technical contact person for purchasing and other functions.

We are looking for you who

• Have a technical background, for example as a technician, electrician, mechanic, or equivalent practical experience.
• Have experience of having moved over to the white-collar side, for example through simpler preparation, technical administration, or as a service coordinator.
• Have the ability to work methodically and keep order on material flows and documentation.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As the position is located within the defense industry and is subject to defense secrecy, Swedish citizenship is required, and you must pass a register check in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
