How you can make an impact:

As a Senior Production Engineer on Paper Machine No. 2 (PM2), you play a vital role within Crane AB. You ensure daily that the right quality, speed, and availability are achieved. You work both tactically and strategically. You lead root cause analyses and continuous improvements within Crane Business System and lead or participate in projects. The role involves training staff, developing procedures, and ensuring Crane AB's world-leading position in the market. We would like you to have the desire and capacity for long-term growth, and you will work very closely with the Production Manager. Our order books are full for several years ahead, and our mission is to significantly increase production throughput.

In your role, you will:

• Monitor processes: Analyze data and investigate deviations and their root causes regarding productivity and quality to optimize results and ensure consistent quality standards.
• Train operators: Ensure the right competence in quality control and the use of technical equipment, thereby contributing to a knowledgeable and skilled workforce.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team (UH): Develop checklists and routines for maintenance and follow-up, contributing to stable and efficient operations.
• Drive projects: Participate in and lead project work.
• Participate in production preparation: Ensure all necessary steps are taken to meet production goals and maintain high quality requirements.
• Develop and ensure quality routines: For the department's technical equipment so that all processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Be customer-oriented: Maintain contact with customers as needed, and provide support and guidance at the Paper Mill in connection with technical questions or issues.
• Act as substitute for the Production Manager: In their absence and serve on the management team for Crane AB.

Knowledge, expertise, and qualifications:

Requirements:

• Education: University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with lean working methods.
• Good computer skills.
• OBS: Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English is a must for this role.
• IT: Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• At least 7 years of experience as a Production Engineer, preferably with experience from the paper or process industry.

Meritorious:

• Experience with LEAN / Six Sigma.

The position is located in Tumba, Stockholm. Situated in the historic area of Tumba Bruk, a 10-minute walk from the train station, 30 km south of Stockholm, and approximately 20 minutes from Stockholm Central Station.
