What does the role involve?

As a Data Engineer at Predictly, you play a key role in building modern data platforms in Google Cloud – from the initial architectural sketch to final delivery. You work closely with clients and often take overall responsibility for the platform's technical setup, including IAM, data collection, structuring, and refining data for various needs.

You develop and maintain robust data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, and BigQuery becomes a central component in your daily work. The role is broad, combining technology, architecture, and problem-solving in a dynamic environment where you are continuously challenged and developed. Predictly primarily collaborates with medium-sized customers, where teams are often responsible for the entire solution, giving you great opportunities to influence and create real value.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• A relevant post-secondary education
• At least 2–3 years of experience with Cloud platforms, particularly within data engineering
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and cloud-based data platforms
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Ability to work broadly across the tech stack, from architecture to implementation
• Good proficiency in both Swedish and English
• EU citizenship

We believe you feel comfortable in a developer role and are just as at home in front of a computer as you are in a modern office landscape. You enjoy taking responsibility for the customer's overall solution and thrive in cross-functional teams where you quickly adapt to new technical challenges.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Understanding of, or experience with, DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Worked through different phases of development projects, from requirements to maintenance
• Experience with agile working methods
