Job Description

In this role, you hold the technical and operational responsibility for property management and facility operations within an assigned area, including buildings, facilities, and offices. The focus is on ensuring stable and cost-effective daily operations according to the budget, achieving set quality and sustainability goals, and guaranteeing delivery according to current agreements.

The role requires a combination of strong technical understanding and administrative management experience. You are expected to work independently and proactively to direct, monitor, and optimize operations. This involves close collaboration and vendor management of external service partners, as well as acting as a reliable and communicative contact point for internal stakeholders at the operational level.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operation of buildings and complex technical systems.
• Lead, manage, and monitor external service providers (Hard FM) and ensure full contract compliance.
• Develop, manage, and monitor the operating budget, as well as costs and quality within the area of responsibility in collaboration with suppliers.
• Ensure delivery according to agreed service levels, KPIs, and functional goals (OPIs/SLA).
• Act as the primary contact point and support for the core business at an operational level regarding property issues.
• Drive continuous improvements, energy optimization, and operational development within the property and workplace units.
• Ensure clear communication, documentation, and ongoing reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Several years of substantial experience in property management, encompassing both technical operations and administrative management.
• Good technical knowledge and experience in maintaining building technical systems (such as HVAC/ventilation, heating, cooling, electricity, and security).
• Documented experience in vendor management, monitoring external partners, and SLA and KPI/OPI management.
• Experience with budgeting, financial monitoring, and cost analysis within facility operations.
• Completed upper secondary education (or equivalent).
• Personal attributes: High degree of independence, critical and analytical thinking, and a strongly proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Very good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education (university, university college, or equivalent) in property management, building technology, or construction technology.
• Experience working in larger, international, or otherwise complex Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management environments (RE&FM).
• Experience in systematic energy optimization work in commercial properties or office landscapes.

Additional Information

• Assignment period: Start as agreed (ASAP) until December 31, 2026 (with good possibilities for extension)
• Scope: Full-time (100%), operational consulting assignment.
• Location: Stockholm, Uppsala, or Östhammar
