We are currently looking for engineers in the ILS/IPS (Integrated Logistic Support/Integrated Product Support) field in Stockholm and Umeå for exciting and varied assignments within industries such as defense, industry, and infrastructure. Your role as an ILS Consultant

As an ILS engineer, you will become a central part of developing systems that not only work – but continue to work over time. You will work on projects related to, for example, command and control systems, marine platforms, military vehicles, flight systems, and advanced sensor systems. You can also work with other types of complex technical systems where operational safety, availability, and a clear lifecycle perspective are crucial.

In this role, you will ensure that operations, maintenance, and support are considered already in the design phase. You will work with ILS planning, requirement setting, and follow-up with suppliers. You will conduct analyses within operational safety, maintainability, availability, and lifecycle cost. You will likely work with methods such as LSA, FMECA, LORA, and LCC – or equivalent analyses within reliability engineering.

This means that you will be involved in creating and developing maintenance strategies, maintenance plans, and spare parts solutions. You will optimize spare parts supply and contribute to efficient warehouse and supply chain solutions. You will work with technical data in PLM, PDM, or ERP systems and contribute to technical documentation and training materials. Close collaboration with project management, system engineers, operations organizations, and customers is a large part of your role.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have experience with:

• ILS/IPS, RAMS, Life Cycle Management, or equivalent within product support
• Work with complex technical systems, preferably from a lifecycle or operational perspective
• Analysis methods such as LSA, RAMS, FMECA, LORA, LCC – or equivalent within reliability and maintenance engineering
• Maintenance planning, maintenance strategy, or work with spare parts and support solutions
• PLM/PDM/ERP systems or work with product data and configuration management
• Technical documentation, requirements management, or systems engineering

We believe you have an academic degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required for the position. If you have worked for a few years, have experience from a relevant industry, or have driven projects, this is meritorious.

If you are new to the ILS field, you will receive a thorough introduction from experienced colleagues who will support you in your work. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training within the processes and methods used.

Since several of our positions involve work covered by defense secrecy, it is required that you undergo and pass a security clearance check.
