At Tornberget, you will work closely with the daily operations and development of the buildings' technical systems, responsible for heating, domestic hot water, cold water, and district heating. You will actively contribute to stable, energy-efficient, and sustainable property management through optimization, monitoring, and technical development of the installation systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence working methods and technical solutions within an organization with high ambitions regarding sustainability, quality, and long-term asset management.

About the Role

As a Drift Engineer at Tornberget, you are responsible for the operation and technical management of the buildings' systems for heating, domestic hot water, cold water, and district heating. You play a central role in ensuring that the systems operate safely and efficiently, as well as in the planning, monitoring, and execution of ongoing maintenance and optimization measures.

You work closely with property managers, contractors, and other technical functions, responsible for monitoring energy usage and ensuring that current regulatory requirements, controls, and inspections are met. The role also involves providing technical expertise during new construction and renovation projects, as well as contributing to the development of technical guidelines and design instructions within your area of responsibility.

The position is based in Haninge.

This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by A-Talent Tech and work at Tornberget. The assignment starts immediately and initially lasts for approximately 6 months.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for framework agreements and design instructions within the technical field
  • Maintenance planning and execution/ordering of maintenance projects
  • Act as an expert during new construction and renovations
  • Responsible for regulatory requirements, inspections, and technical monitoring
  • Budgeting, forecasts, and financial monitoring
  • Monitoring new technology trends
  • Drive energy efficiency and advocate for sustainable material choices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality and efficient operations

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree in Energy, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), or equivalent, or equivalent work experience. You have several years of experience working with heating plants and HVAC or similar technical installations.

You have good IT skills and are accustomed to working with technical systems and monitoring. In addition to your technical competence, you are self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where you take responsibility, drive work forward, and collaborate with other functions.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required and you have a flexible attitude towards both operational and strategic tasks.
