About the role
Mixing products in our lab is like creating the beauty equivalent of a juicy and dewy sugar cake. As you surely know, it is about chemistry and passion in harmony, and just as every ingredient in a baked good matters, every detail in our products matters too.

As a laboratory assistant here, you will work in close collaboration with our senior formulators to create and develop products within our own brands, such as Waterclouds, Neccin, Pusher, Happy Crazy Mine, as well as many lovely By Lyko products and other private labels. You will work with everything from skincare to haircare.

Your main tasks will include:

• Mixing products according to recipes for customers and external tests, and working practically in the lab.
• Conducting stability tests and following up on and documenting results.
• Updating raw material information in the system. Also archiving, keeping logs, and documenting.
• Calibrating and cleaning instruments and ensuring the lab is kept in good condition.
• Ordering raw materials, consumables, and packaging.

Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Have a completed post-secondary education in chemistry or similar.
• Preferably have previous experience from working in a lab, GMP standards, or cosmetic production (a big plus!), or perhaps similar experience from a similar industry.
• Are quality-conscious and responsible.
• Have good collaboration skills, are receptive, and helpful.
• Are structured and orderly.

More about the role and Lyko
The position is located at our office on Bondegatan in Söder, Stockholm, and the work is always performed on-site. Working hours are weekdays 08:00–17:00. The employment is permanent with an initial probationary period. You will report to Karin Fallgren, Head of Product Development.
