Scania Industrial Maintenance AB is a technical production support company and part of Scania CV AB. We offer a wide range of services within industrial projects and are responsible for production and property maintenance within Scania.

Role Summary

We are now looking for an Energy Technology and Development Engineer for our Energy, Media, and Support department, QFX.

The role of Energy Technology and Development Engineer is both exciting and challenging, as you contribute to achieving Scania’s long-term sustainability goals by driving and influencing the development of future energy performance within Scania’s production and service facilities. We are a department with 11 employees. Here, you have great opportunities to influence the department's working methods and future development. Collaboration within the group and with other groups is a natural part of your daily work, and you report to the Head of QFX.

The work is highly varied and developmental, and you will have the opportunity to follow the flow from start to finish and see the results of your efforts in both small and large assignments. You will have great opportunities for development as we operate in a technology-intensive environment, providing you with both breadth and depth through your tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Your mission is to perform energy investigations, energy mapping, and drive development within technical guidelines, systems, and working methods. An important area of work is to educate employees within the energy field. You lead and carry out development projects to achieve standardized solutions for energy technology systems. In addition, you serve as technical support for our departments within projects and maintenance. Our way of working is strongly influenced by Lean principles, and we work with "leading energy" based on Kaizen.

Who You Are

We are looking for a driven engineer with good ability to collaborate with others.

You have:

  • Corresponding higher education studies (180 ECTS) in the relevant field. A Master of Science in Engineering degree is an advantage.
  • At least 0–1 years of experience from similar tasks.
  • Good knowledge of the structure of infrastructure systems and their energy usage is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of production and process technology is a prerequisite.
  • Good knowledge of electrical, heating, and cooling systems as well as LCC calculations.

You master Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

You understand the importance of adapting communication based on the situation, and you create and maintain good relationships.
