We are now looking for childcare assistants (barnskötare) for temporary positions in Härryda Municipality. This is a consolidated advertisement for all our preschools in the municipality. In your application, please state which preschool you are interested in working at.

In Härryda Municipality, we have 27 municipal preschools, many located near nature and forests, with outdoor yards adapted for creativity, learning, and play. The preschools vary in size, with different numbers of departments and age groups.

Your Role

As a childcare assistant in Härryda Municipality, you contribute to a safe, equitable, and developmental preschool. Together with preschool teachers and colleagues, you create good relationships and an stimulating learning environment based on the preschool curriculum and core values.

Your responsibilities include:

Meeting each child based on their needs and interests
Contributing to security, structure, and job satisfaction
Participating in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of activities
Working with pedagogical documentation and reflection

Qualifications and Merits

Requirements:

Completed childcare assistant education or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
Basic digital competence
Good understanding of the preschool's mission and curriculum

Meritorious qualifications:

Completed upper secondary education from the Childcare and Leisure Programme with at least 2,250 credits, focusing on work in preschool/school
Experience working in a preschool
Experience with systematic quality work
Experience working with children in need of special support
Experience with language-developing approaches

Personal suitability is given great weight.
