About the Position

Are you ready for a summer job where you make a difference every day? We are now looking for hourly summer substitutes for an active and fun customer in Trollhättan – and for the right person, there is a chance for continued employment after the summer!

We are currently seeking summer substitutes for hourly employment in personal assistance for a female customer in Trollhättan. The position is a summer substitute role with the possibility of extension after the summer for the right person. We would prefer that you can start your hourly employment immediately, so that you get a secure introduction and have time to settle into the work before summer.

The customer is active and enjoys finding various activities during her free time. A requirement is that you are a competent swimmer, as the swimming pool is visited several days a week.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is responsible and has a high work ethic. You should be flexible, cheerful, positive, and work well in a team that constantly strives to give the customer the best possible quality of life. During the day, we always work in pairs, so there are high demands on having good teamwork skills.

You must be able to work all times of the day, including awake nights. The shifts are currently scheduled for 07:30-19:00, 08:30-20:10, and 20:00-07:35.

Your Assignment

The customer has extensive care needs, and you will, among other things, work with mobility, personal hygiene, and personal care. For the customer's health, it is important that you, as an applicant, are not a smoker during working hours. Working as a personal assistant means assisting the individual customer and being their extended arms and legs, meaning you help the customer with what they cannot do themselves. This can involve helping with everything from personal care, hygiene, and household chores to accompanying them to various activities and entertainment.

Your Purpose

Is to support and facilitate the customer's daily life and thereby create a meaningful existence. The working hours are adapted to the user's needs and decisions, so it is important that you can imagine working days and evenings as well as awake nights.

Your Background

We would prefer that you have experience working as a personal assistant. To succeed in the job, you need to be in good physical shape as you will need to be able to pull/push a wheelchair and perform various transfers. In addition, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of brain injuries and epilepsy. As a person, you are empathetic and can quickly put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation. Furthermore, you should be able to be flexible and see opportunities in possible changes. In addition, you need to be calm and able to maintain composure and focus in different situations that may arise, and have the ability to focus on the right things.
