The Health and Care Administration, with approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the administrations in the City of Mölndal and covers elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and healthcare.

Job Responsibilities
Through the relief service (avlösarservice), guardians are given the opportunity to take a break. As a relief worker, you perform this service in the family's home or nearby area. The tasks vary depending on the family's situation and needs. Tasks may include support with hygiene, dressing and undressing, mobility, communication, play, and lighter forms of homework assistance.
The escort service (ledsagarservice) aims to provide the individual with support in various areas of life. As an escort, you support the individual in performing various activities. You provide support in planning and preparation based on the individual's wishes and needs. The goal of the service may be to practice using public transport, participating in social contexts, and performing meaningful activities. Activities are planned with the individual and may include bowling, exercising, visiting museums, or going to the cinema.
The assignments are on average 15–20 hours/month, and there is an opportunity to perform one or more assignments.
Qualifications and Merits
Requirements for the position:
- Experience and knowledge of disabilities.
- Experience with clear communication pedagogy/ AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
- Experience working with a low-affective approach in interactions.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Experience and knowledge of autism.
- Experience working with challenging behavior.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Education in healthcare and care or child and youth activities.
- Interest and knowledge in video games, exercise, sports, music, dance, social sciences, history, nature, dogs, and other animals.
