Sagans Preschool is a literature-certified preschool where language is a priority area. Through language-rich learning environments, daily read-alouds, and a conscious language-promoting approach, we create the conditions for every child's development and learning. Every year, we work in depth based on a children's book as a theme, which creates a red thread in the education and gives children the opportunity to explore language, fantasy, creativity, and knowledge in many different ways. It is a fun way of working for both children and adults at the preschool.

As a preschool teacher at Sagans Preschool, you have an important role in leading and developing the teaching based on the preschool curriculum. Together with your colleagues, you plan, implement, document, and follow up on the teaching to create the best possible conditions for children's development and learning.

You are responsible for creating a safe, accessible, and stimulating learning environment where children's curiosity, involvement, and desire to learn are valued. In teaching, you work consciously with language, communication, and literature as important tools for learning and development. You are a present educator who actively participates in children's play and exploration and supports their relationships.

The assignment also includes building and maintaining trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. Through a professional and committed approach, you contribute to creating a preschool for all children.

Your schedule includes pedagogical development time, which provides space for reflection in the team, collegial learning, and individual planning.

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher or a newly graduated preschool teacher and who want to help develop an activity where the child's best interest is always at the center.

You have commitment and knowledge and want to help give children a educational and positive time in preschool. You work systematically for children's learning and development and see language and literature as important tools in the pedagogical work. You are open to development, think new, and thus contribute to the development of both children, colleagues, and the activity.

Relationships are an important foundation in our activity, and therefore we are looking for you who are secure, sensitive, and have an easy time creating trusting relationships with both children and guardians. You have a positive approach, a reflective working style, and work with a clear anchoring in the assignment. As a person, you are adaptable and can imagine working with both younger and older children. You have an easy time collaborating, communicating, and see it as a strength that in a team, you complement each other's competencies.

Within the Preschool Administration, we have free pedagogical lunches, work clothes, and as a preschool teacher, you additionally have an average of five hours of planning time per week.
