At the school, you are part of a teaching team in a specific year group, but you teach all year groups. This is all done in close collaboration with students and all staff at the school.

Båtsmansskolan is a primary/lower secondary school with approximately 190 students in grades 7-9, as well as a municipal special needs education (SNU) group. There is a strong "we-feeling" at the school where all adults are equally important for the students' success. The school focuses heavily on participation and finding success factors for student learning. It is a school with motivated students, and we work with a strong focus on relationships. The school works partly cross-curricularly and with several thematic directions each academic year.

Your assignment

We are looking for a teacher who will teach French, but there is also an opportunity to teach technology. The position is permanent, 40 to 50%. You will teach all students in grades 7-9. You will work together with colleagues in a teaching team.

The teachers work in three teaching teams annually, where you belong with the teachers in grade 7. To create security and collaboration, the classes consist of approximately 20 students, but in craft classes (slöjd), the groups are 15. In the teaching team, we work closely together and close to the students.

Requirements for the position

You are educated as a Textile Teacher and are qualified to teach textile crafts in primary/lower secondary school. We are looking for someone with good cooperation skills, who is flexible and can inspire and engage students. You are mission-aware, work goal-oriented, and use digital tools as a natural part of the pedagogical work.

Experience as a teacher is meritorious. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented. An extract from the Suspicion Register may also be required depending on the position.
