At the school, you are part of a work team in a grade level, but you teach in all grade levels. All of this in close collaboration with students and all staff at the school.

Båtsmansskolan is a primary school with approx. 190 students in grades 7-9, as well as a municipal special needs education (SU) group. At the school, there is a strong sense of "we" where all adults are equally important for the students to succeed. The school focuses heavily on participation and finding success factors for student learning. It is a school with motivated students, and we work with a strong focus on relationships. The school works partly cross-curricularly and with several thematic directions each school year.

Your assignment

We are looking for a teacher who will teach all NO (Natural Sciences) subjects, but there is also the possibility of teaching technology. The position is permanent 100%. In addition to class teaching, you will also teach in our SU group. You will work together with colleagues in a work team.

The teachers work in three work teams annually. In your assignment, you can be the responsible teacher for approx. 10 students. To create security and collaboration, the classes consist of approx. 20 students. In the work team, we work closely together and close to the students.

Requirements for the position

You are a trained NO teacher and:

• are qualified to teach NO in primary school
• have good collaboration skills
• are flexible and can inspire and engage students
• are mission-aware and work goal-oriented
• use digital tools as a natural part of the pedagogical work

Experience as a teacher is meritorious. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also become relevant depending on the position.
