The role of childcare worker with us

In this role, you contribute to a sharing culture where we take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other. Together with other educators, you work to ensure that the preschool's activities are characterized by play and joyful learning. You create a motivating and stimulating learning environment according to the curriculum, with the aim of awakening curiosity and the driving forces of creativity.

Skogsdunge Preschool works with the fairy tale as a theme – an approach we are very proud of, which brings great joy and strength to both educators and children, allowing for consistent implementation of teaching.

As a childcare worker with us, you help create safe and accessible learning environments for all children. You use sign support and picture support to promote communication and participation in the group of children. This contributes to every child having the opportunity to express themselves and be understood based on their own prerequisites. You also work from a low-affective approach to meet children with respect, calmness, and understanding.

Your profile

You are curious about working with play and the fairy tale at the center – an approach that permeates our pedagogical activities and contributes to joyful learning for both children and educators. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is trained as a childcare worker
• has relevant education/experience with competence in sign support and picture support
• has good knowledge of low-affective interaction

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience working in preschool
• worked with fairy tales as a theme

The preschool's activities are characterized by engagement, security, and warmth. Play and joyful learning are given ample space in everyday life. With us, the child is always at the center, and we strive for a safe, fun, and educational preschool – every day. We constantly work on developing our pedagogical environments, both indoors and outdoors, as we use creativity and imagination fully because we believe that most things are possible. We work according to Kungsbacka's way of reducing group sizes, so we have organized ourselves to work in pairs instead of trios.

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.
