We believe that the social services of the future are built by people who are given the right conditions – do you want to be part of it?

There are jobs. And then there are jobs where you get to be the adult who actually makes a difference when life gets tough.

The social services are facing major changes – so are we.

We are a municipality that tests new approaches instead of getting stuck in "we've always done it this way." Here, we are actively working to create a more sustainable social service – for both residents and employees.

This means, among other things:

  • Fewer unnecessary administrative tasks
  • Greater trust in the profession
  • Digital working methods that actually facilitate work
  • Close leadership
  • Focus on quality instead of detailed control

We are now looking for a Social Secretary with a focus on investigations who wants to help develop the social work of the future together with us.

About the workplace

The Authority Unit in Aneby Municipality consists of three teams: the Children/Youth team, the Adult team, and the Assistance team. We work closely together and collaborate actively with open care and schools to ensure good coordination and a holistic view. We value a positive work environment focused on community and job satisfaction, including flexible working hours, the possibility to work from home, external supervision, and opportunities for wellness activities.

In our small municipality, the opportunities to influence and participate in development are significant, creating a meaningful work environment.

We offer:

  • New and modern premises: We are located in fresh and secure premises that promote collaboration and a good work environment.
  • Development opportunities: The Children/Youth team is part of the national "Yrkesresan" (Career Journey), which gives us opportunities for good professional introduction and regular competence development.
  • An inclusive work culture: In our work group, we care about each other, have a light touch with humor and a high level of trust, and take joint responsibility for our mission. This is our strength.

Job Responsibilities

The role of investigator involves investigation and follow-up work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law of Care of Young Persons (LVU). You will work together with three other investigators, a reception secretary, and a senior social secretary in a small, tight-knit group focused on work environment, stability, and development. Your closest colleagues also include family home secretaries and placement follow-up officers. We are a small group with a strong team spirit that has worked hard in recent years focusing on work environment issues.

Here, you will work with a high degree of team spirit, supported by legislation, guidelines, and practice. In daily work, you will receive support and supervision from the senior social secretary, unit manager, colleagues, and an external supervisor. The work is characterized by professionalism and good treatment, as well as sensitivity to the needs of children, young people, and families.

We strive to enable change for the children and young people we meet, promote collaboration, and work with participation and quality in a respectful way. Our goal is to reach good solutions together with the individual.

Currently, we are facing an exciting and intensive development process to meet the transition to the new Social Services Act. Aiming to become an increasingly knowledge-based, accessible, and preventive social service, we are facing, among other things, the further development of our organization in close collaboration with open care and schools.

Qualifications

We are now looking for you who want to work as a Social Secretary in a operation where the human being is at the center.

You have:

  • A degree in Social Work (Social Work)
  • A valid driver's license (Category B)
  • BBIC training / Case management with the child in the center is meritorious.
  • Experience in similar tasks or other social authority work with children, young people, and families is meritorious.
  • Experience working with Signs of Safety, ICDP, IRisk, the Combine system, and school collaboration is meritorious.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you stand behind the municipality's values; openness, development, and responsibility.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

  • Have good documentation and analytical skills
  • Can make professional assessments
  • Are flexible, empathetic, and relationship-building
  • Work both independently and in a team

You need to:

  • Be able to listen to different perspectives
  • Have a professional and respectful approach
  • Be able to create trusting relationships
  • Have the ability to reflect and develop

Here, you will get not just a job – you get the opportunity to really make an impact, develop in your profession, work closely with engaged colleagues, and help shape the social services of the future. We value that you want to learn, develop, and contribute to the continued development of the operation.

Become part of our team and contribute to the future of Aneby Municipality! We look forward to your application.
