RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach Home Economics and Visual Arts in grades 7-9. The role also includes daily administration and contact with students, guardians, student welfare staff, and colleagues. You will share homeroom teacher responsibilities with a colleague.

We are looking for you who have a relational approach and clear leadership in the classroom. You keep the student in focus and work with guidance and stimulation in the classroom to meet students at both group and individual levels. You are comfortable using compensatory aids in your work to meet the needs of students. Digital tools are a natural part of your teaching. You are well-versed in grading and assessment.

You see the benefits of collegial learning and collaborate willingly with colleagues and other professions to develop the work, which is part of the school's systematic quality work. You recognize that collaboration and shared vision benefit the student's development. You also see that good collaboration with guardians is a strength when we work for the student's best interest.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach Home Economics and Visual Arts in grades 7-9. We prefer that you have previous experience working as a teacher, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply.

We place great emphasis on social competence, the ability to meet students, and collaborate with colleagues and other staff.
