Munktellskolan is a lower secondary school with 530 students and approximately 60 staff members. In August 2023, we moved into our new premises and changed our name from the previous "Faktoriet". Since then, we have grown and recently expanded with both staff and students. From August 2025, we increased from 12 to 18 classes. RESPONSIBILITIES

At our school, you will teach English and Swedish as a second language in grades 7-9. In this role, you will plan, conduct, and evaluate your teaching based on the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School, Preschool Class and the Leisure-time Centre (Lgr22). You will base your work on the students' interests, needs, and development, which means engaging students in the teaching while meeting their diverse needs in the classroom.

You will share mentorship duties with a colleague, hold development conferences, and maintain close dialogue with guardians. Our goal is to develop students' knowledge, skills, and self-confidence in an environment where everyone feels safe. Therefore, as a new employee, you will be assigned a mentor who will provide support during your initial period at the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a teacher degree and a teaching license with eligibility to teach English and Swedish as a second language for grades 7-9. Alternatively, you are currently studying and expect to graduate soon. It is meritorious if you have experience in teaching in pedagogical activities and preferably have worked according to the curriculum. You are confident in using digital tools and have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You are a committed employee with good collaboration skills and can create security and trust by listening to the different needs of students. We believe that you want to develop in your role as a teacher and contribute to the school's continued development. You are good at building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
