Holavedsgymnasiet is now looking for an engaged Math/Science teacher with qualifications for grades 7–9, primarily for teaching on the introductory programs. We are looking for you who want to develop and ensure the quality of teaching for some of the school's most important students – those who need flexible, individualized paths towards further studies or work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves teaching mathematics and science (NO) to students primarily on the introductory programs at Holavedsgymnasiet at the lower secondary level. Teaching mathematics and natural sciences on national programs may also become relevant. You will provide support and stimulation based on the students' specific prerequisites and promote their development. You will work closely with your colleagues, and together you will drive the group's teaching forward. Responsibility for common tasks in the profession, such as mentoring, is included in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Math and Science for grades 7–9. Qualifications in mathematics and natural sciences at the upper secondary level are advantageous. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working with introductory programs (IM) or with student groups with diverse backgrounds.

Holavedsgymnasiet is a school with approximately 800 students and a wide range of both vocational and university-preparatory programs. The school also includes introductory programs and adapted upper secondary education. Holavedsgymnasiet is located in central Tranås, which means proximity to various activities and good commuting opportunities. The work climate is open, and we work to ensure that every student develops and is prepared for the future.
