Welcome to us

Knutby School in Rinkeby is primarily a two-stream school for grades F-6, with just over 300 students. We have experienced staff with a wide range of competencies.

Knutby School is a safe school where we have high expectations that our students do their best based on their prerequisites. We focus primarily on our students' knowledge development in Swedish and mathematics. The classes are small.

Your role

• Teaching in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language (SVA) and Natural Sciences (NO) in grades 4–6.
• Two-teacher system for a large part of the time in Swedish/SVA, where you teach, plan, and assess together.
• Mentorship for part of the class.
• Extra study time.

The position is a parental leave substitute for the academic year 2026/2027.

Your skills and experience

• Licensed teacher with qualifications in Swedish as a Second Language/Swedish and Natural Sciences (NO) in grades 4–6.
• Clear leadership with a focus on relational leadership.
• High level of Swedish language proficiency so you can be a role model for the students.
• Experience and knowledge of language-developing working methods and how they can permeate teaching.
• Education in NTA (Nature, Technology, and Work) is meritorious.
