The Property Department is responsible for ensuring that the municipality's properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. We work both strategically and operationally with operations, maintenance, facility care, and property development – from ongoing service to advisory, project management, and long-term planning. Together, we create sustainable environments where the municipality's activities can function and develop. We are now looking for a Property Administrator to join the department.

Responsibilities

As a Property Administrator, you play a central role in supporting the municipal property operations and contributing to efficient and high-quality management. The role involves comprehensive administrative tasks, communication, and documentation.

Responsibilities include handling contracts, registers, and property-related documentation to ensure structure, quality, and compliance with administrative procedures. Part of the role is to develop and streamline administrative processes and contribute to increased digitalization within the operations.

The position also involves participating in the development and management of property data systems, with a focus on good data quality, clear structure, and user-friendliness.

Qualifications

For the role of Property Administrator, we are looking for you with relevant education and/or experience deemed sufficient for the position. A requirement is at least three years of documented experience in qualified administrative work.

You are a skilled administrator with experience in handling various system support tools. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of the property industry and the laws and contracts that apply here. To succeed in the role of Property Administrator, good IT skills are required, as well as an interest in and understanding of the role of digitalization in the development and efficiency of operations.

Since a large part of the work involves collaborating and communicating with others, it is important that you have the ability to build good and trusting relationships.

The Consultancy and Service Administration provides support and services to the departments in our areas of property, operations and service, catering, IT, and administrative support services.

During the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license plus a certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that strengthens proof of citizenship. For some positions, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal record register are required. We welcome knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are classified for security reasons, so security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
