We are looking for a colleague to join the Individual and Family Care department. As a Social Secretary in the Children and Youth Group, you will be part of a team consisting of eight social secretaries and a group leader who provides support and supervision in daily work. We also have two family therapists who are part of our team. The Individual and Family Care department also includes an adult group and open care services, where work is carried out in close collaboration. The operations also have case handlers who provide support, particularly with administration. The Employment Unit is also part of our operations. At our workplace, there is a positive team spirit where we support and back each other up in daily work.

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

In the Children and Youth Group, you will primarily handle investigations and follow-up of measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU), as well as family law matters for children and young people aged 0–21. You will work in close collaboration with other colleagues within the Individual and Family Care department, as well as with external authorities and actors.

You must be a social worker or have another academic education deemed equivalent. Experience in this type of work is an advantage.

You should be able to collaborate easily and have good verbal and written communication skills. Personal suitability is highly valued. You must have a valid driver's license (category B).
