At Scandic Lugnet, our guests stay right in the middle of Lugnet's large sports and outdoor facility, offering activities year-round. We are now looking for a Receptionist at Scandic Lugnet.
Regardless of why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team and create a world-class guest experience.
Here, you will take significant personal responsibility for making the decisions required to satisfy the guest. The team develops and improves working methods and service as the external world changes. What does the role entail?
You working in the reception are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the hub of the network, ensuring the guest is always in focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details, ensuring the guest's wishes are met. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most things and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a happy one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. The area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security work, and sales work.
Work in the reception involves checking hotel guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing the guest with the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks regarding guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit the role, we believe you have a well-developed social skill and are capable of handling that many different things happen simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
You also have experience and knowledge in working with computers as a work tool.
Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an advantage.
Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
