Your Workplace

The position is located at the Rheumatology Clinic, but you will work with curative assignments across the entire Medicine Clinic and the Heart and Acute Medicine Clinic.

You are part of the network for somatic inpatient social workers in Värmland County and have access to external supervision.

Your Responsibilities

Your task is to complement medical care with psychosocial knowledge from a holistic perspective. You are a key part of the care chain, acting as a social worker with a coordinating function, serving as a link between healthcare and the surrounding society, and being the clinic's expert on social legislation and various forms of societal support.

The role involves varied tasks within our different specialties, including team-based work and professional counseling focused on crisis processing, support, or change work.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed healthcare social worker (hälso- och sjukvårdskurator) or have a recognized degree in social work. You make independent decisions based on your professional role, while remaining flexible and able to adapt your working methods to changing circumstances. You have strong collaboration skills and build trusting relationships through empathetic and secure interactions.
