The mental health area of the Health and Medical Care Administration consists of inpatient psychiatric care, adult outpatient psychiatry, addiction care, and child and adolescent psychiatry. The operation has a total of approximately 110 employees.

The mandate of the operational area is to be responsible for providing psychiatric specialist care to adults and to be responsible for providing care for mental ill health to children and adolescents up to 17 years of age. Psychiatric specialist care is provided at clinics and/or at home, and as needed within inpatient care. The operation offers a breadth in terms of both competence and services, which is a challenge since the catchment area is relatively small both in terms of area and population. The vision is a common person-centered value base that is expressed in both patient meetings and meetings between employees and leaders.

We are now looking for a substitute for our staffing planner during her parental leave.

Your responsibilities

As a staffing planner, you work with planning round-the-clock staffing based on short- and long-term absence. Your tasks will mainly consist of staffing and scheduling, time reporting, and handling permanent and hourly employees in our staffing system Medvind. This means that you need to have an interest and good insight into the entire operation and knowledge of our individual employees.

You often have direct contact with our employees when acute unplanned absences arise that need to be covered. You are responsible for administration in connection with new hires, such as ordering e-service cards and permissions in the medical record system and access control system. You are responsible for administration and contact with staffing agencies in cases of hired labor.

You will serve as administrative support to unit managers, primarily within adult psychiatric inpatient care, but also to other unit managers within the operational area. Depending on your competence and experience, part of the position may involve clinical work.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a nurse assistant and who have previously worked as a planner. You have documented experience with the scheduling system Medvind, good computer skills, and administrative ability.

Previous experience from similar jobs or administrative education, as well as knowledge regarding working time legislation and strategic sustainable staffing, is meritorious.

A background check through extracts from the criminal record will be conducted prior to the decision on employment.
