Gotlandshem is the largest landlord on Gotland and we will continue to maintain a high pace in the future. We have recently formed a group and are now looking for an engaged and meticulous accounting manager who wants to take a holistic approach to the group's finances, with efficiency, quality, and sustainability as guiding principles.

About Us

You will be employed by the parent company Gotlandshem AB, which brings together the group's property division as well as strategic and operational management and support functions. We have an economics department that handles, among other things, all ongoing bookkeeping, compiles the annual report, and supports the organization with economic matters. Within the accounting and reporting process, we have five accountants distributed among the different companies who handle the subsidiaries' accounting and payroll.

About the Role

In this role, you will be the process leader for the accounting process, serving as an expert and support for the group's accountants in their daily work. You will be responsible for follow-up, quality assurance, and compliance with laws regarding ongoing bookkeeping as well as monthly and annual closing. You will also serve as a support for the entire group in accounting-related matters. You will work closely with our Finance Manager and have the opportunity to influence and develop our financial processes. Your responsibilities also include ensuring that reporting is carried out according to procedures and analyzing financial data. Contact with authorities and auditors is also part of the role.

About You

We place great importance on personal suitability. For us, this means that you are an analytical person who has the ability to see the big picture while appreciating order, structure, and precision. You are also skilled at collaborating, communicating, providing feedback, and taking initiative to ensure high quality in our work.

You have relevant further education in economics and are well-versed in accounting principles and tax legislation. We expect you to have several years of experience in qualified audit or accounting work. Experience with group and component accounting is a merit.
