As an economist at Riksbyggen, you will work in an advisory role with many customer contacts. You will work in close collaboration with our technical managers and other delivery units to jointly deliver long-term management services that create added value for our customers.

Make a difference with us

You will be the economist for a number of our customers, primarily consisting of housing cooperatives but also commercial property owners and municipalities. You will have frequent contact with, among others, the chairs and boards of housing cooperatives.

The role also involves identifying new needs and developing long-term cooperation with the customer from there. For our customers, you will also be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, preparing budgets and annual accounts, financial follow-up of operations, loan procurement, financial planning, and presenting budgets and forecasts to the boards.

You will further serve as the contact person for boards, housing cooperative members, suppliers, authorities, and others regarding financial matters.

We are looking for you who are interested in customer contacts and have the ability to identify and meet customer needs while acting professionally. You have the ability to create an open and trust-based dialogue as well as good collaboration internally and externally. Furthermore, it is important that you can look beyond the immediate and work towards long-term sustainable strategies for the customer's financial management. You need to be structured and self-initiative. As an employee at Riksbyggen, you are also expected to be a board member in some housing cooperatives.

You have a university/college education in economics or equivalent. We see that you have worked with various parts of economics and have experience from annual accounting/reporting.

The position requires a B-driver's license and access to a personal car. The role involves some evening meetings. The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Visby, but work in other locations within the market area may occur. Riksbyggen applies a probationary period.
