The HR department consists of the HR Director, Business and Organization Developers, HR Strategists, and two units: HR Support and Payroll. The HR Support unit currently has about 20 employees. Our mission is to provide advisory support on personnel matters to all managers in Region Gotland, as well as to drive development projects within the organization's common HR areas. The unit also has a support function where we answer questions directly via phone/email or refer cases to colleagues in the relevant area.

Our services are in high demand, and our mission is constantly growing and developing. We continuously review our working methods to better meet existing needs.

As a unit, we are positive and engaged. We are now looking for two colleagues for a permanent position and one fixed-term contract, who, together with us, want to contribute to developing HR work within Region Gotland's operations.

Your Responsibilities

As an HR Specialist, you will work operationally to support the region's managers in various HR matters, and collaborate with the rest of the HR unit in processes aimed at developing our different areas. You will have a supportive and advisory role in working with the region's managers, where the role is broad and varied within the HR field.

In working with processes and development assignments, you will be driving and responsible together with colleagues on the unit and our strategists. The work requires that you are willing to work where needed and are not afraid to take on new things.

It may become relevant to be more closely tied to a specific administration for a shorter or longer period to better support in the way needed there.

Who are you?

We are looking for you with an academic education in HR or equivalent education assessed as equivalent by the employer, combined with relevant work experience. A Class B driver's license is required for the position.

You have experience in qualified HR work, are accustomed to supporting managers in personnel matters, and have good knowledge of labor law. Experience from working in many different HR areas is considered meritorious.

As a person, we want you to be easy to collaborate with and communicate with, and to have good initiative and be unpretentious. The work also places high demands on you being self-motivated, flexible, and a good organizer. You must take initiative for improvements and are willing to take responsibility for driving them, sometimes alone and sometimes together with others.
