About the Business Controller role

We offer a developmental role with great opportunities to influence and drive change within both the logistics operations and the controlling organization. You will work closely with the local Logistics Manager and sit on the logistics unit's management group. Organizationally, you are part of Logistics Controlling and will join a team of four driven and engaged Business Controllers from the other logistics units, reporting to the Manager of Warehouse Operations Controlling. At the Borlänge unit, approximately 50 office employees and more than 450 staff members work together to deliver goods to ICA stores across northern Sweden.

As a Business Controller, a business-oriented approach is required, where you are responsible for economic processes, including closing, reporting, analysis, and planning processes. You act as a business partner to both the Logistics Manager and the management group, develop business steering, participate in development projects, and ensure follow-up on effect realization. ICA and Finance are on a digital transformation journey, and together we are creating the conditions for Controlling to be a strategic business partner capable of generating insightful data and managing digitalization.
