Your new job

Your assignment includes responsibility for the pedagogical content of the teaching and independently planning, implementing, and following up on work in the classroom. You ensure that the teaching is based on the goals of the curriculum and other regulatory documents, while continuously developing the teaching further in collaboration with the work team or teaching colleagues. In the classroom, you work to strengthen students' abilities, knowledge, and self-confidence, and you build trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You actively contribute to a safe and pleasant learning environment that supports students' learning throughout the school day. The role also includes mentorship, where you follow and support the development of one of the school's classes.

Welcome to us

Örserum School is located approximately 1 mile east of Gränna. In the immediate vicinity, you have access to beautiful nature with forests and Lake Ören. Approximately 40 students attend the school, and about 15 children are enrolled in the after-school center. The teaching is age-integrated, with students from different grades in one group.

Örserum School is part of the Ölmstad school area, with pedagogical collaboration during the school year.

The schoolyard is large and offers many different play areas, such as horse and stable activities, an obstacle course, a bandy rink, a football field, sandpit play, and a climbing wall.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades F–3 and/or 4–6 with broad eligibility for teaching in primary school. For work in grades 4–6, certification in Swedish, English, and Mathematics is required.

You have a good understanding of the primary school's mission and the regulatory documents that frame the teaching, as well as very good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing. Furthermore, you have basic digital competence and feel confident using the school's IT tools in daily work.

Before employing new colleagues in our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching certificate. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching certificate obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
