Gruvrisskolan is one of Falun's largest F-6 schools, with approximately 500 students. The school is located in the nature-friendly district of Galgberget, an area in Falun where new villas and multi-family houses are being built. The school has a nice outdoor environment, good facilities, and a staff group with a strong drive to develop the operations.

At Gruvrisskolan, the team culture is strong. Here, leisure center staff and primary school teachers work together in year-group teams. Almost all teachers at the school are qualified with long experience, and those who are not yet qualified are in the final stages of their education, ensuring high quality in our operations.

Students are at the center of everything we do. Our collaboration to ensure student success is vital to us. Our quality work focuses heavily on health, security, and students' knowledge development. Gruvrisskolan has a student health team consisting of principals, special education teachers, counselors, and school nurses, all working full-time at the school. All special education teachers are linked to the different year groups.

This autumn, we are looking for you who want to work in one of our teams at the lower primary level, alongside other teacher colleagues and leisure center staff.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include:

• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching – individually and within the team.
• Working with additional adjustments for your students.
• Shared mentorship within the team.
• Active participation in the school's development work.

Qualifications

Required for the role:

• Teaching certification with eligibility to teach in grades F-3.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is good at seeing the big picture and prioritizing accordingly. You are a problem solver who uses your knowledge in a flexible way. You adapt easily to new circumstances and can take initiative. Above all, you are good at collaborating towards common goals.

Desirable qualifications

• Previous experience teaching in grades F-6.
• Experience as a VFU (Work Integrated Learning) supervisor.

Employment conditions

Permanent position (holiday service). Start date in August or as agreed.
