Sparbanken Tranemo is growing and is now strengthening its finance department with a new economist. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a local bank where accessibility, listening, and advisory services are key words in our operations.

Sparbanken Tranemo has been in existence for over 120 years, and operations are conducted in Tranemo and Gnosjö municipalities. The bank has two offices, in Tranemo and Gnosjö, with the head office located in Tranemo.

About the role

As an economist here, you will have a broad and varied position and become an important part of our finance function. You will work in close collaboration with our Finance Manager in daily operations. Together, you will be responsible for central parts of the bank's financial work and contribute to a secure, efficient, and well-functioning finance department.

In this role, you will, among other things, work with:

• Controls and reconciliations
• Monthly closing and annual reporting
• Internal and external reporting
• Analysis and financial follow-up

An important part of the role will be to contribute to the development of the finance function as well as to streamline and improve routines and working methods. The position involves significant responsibility and good opportunities to influence and develop the bank's financial processes.

About you

We are looking for you who have a university degree in economics and preferably experience in accounting, controlling, or similar tasks. Experience from working in banking or finance is an advantage – but not a requirement.

We believe that you are a driven, analytical, and meticulous person who works in a structured and independent manner. You take responsibility for your tasks and feel confident in your competence, while also having a solution-oriented and development-driven approach to work. You have good ability to plan and prioritize based on set goals and timeframes.

Location: Tranemo or Gnosjö. The role requires flexibility and the ability to commute between offices as needed.
