Financial Analyst / Assistant Controller

As a controller, you will become a key player in our team – a role where you work both operationally and analytically, with great variety in your tasks.

About the role

You will work closely with both our internal organization and our Shared Service Center (SSO). You will have a central function in ensuring correct accounting, supporting financial reporting, and contributing to effective cost control.

Your main responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial files and reports
• Monitor and allocate incoming invoices and ensure matching between orders and invoices in collaboration with the SSO
• Support VAT reporting, approvals, and related accounting entries
• Responsible for tracking CAPEX, related tools, and account analysis
• Conduct regular reviews of the income statement (P&L) and support monthly period-end closing
• Prepare weekly trend analyses and support payments (Swedish and international payments)
• Support SOX controls (e.g., GRNI and asset changes)
• Handle other ad hoc tasks within finance
• You actively participate in the monthly closing:
• Account reconciliation
• CAPEX bookings
• Inventory adjustments

As an assistant controller, you contribute to:

• Financial reporting (including accounting support to the SSO)
• Cost control (CAPEX and overhead)
• Improvement of internal processes and control environment

About you

This is a role for you who wants to combine a focus on details with a holistic perspective – and who finds it equally rewarding to improve processes as it is to ensure the numbers balance.

• Post-secondary education in economics/accounting
• Experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment
• Good knowledge of tax, VAT, and financial reporting
• Structured, meticulous, and analytical
• Good skills in Excel and business systems
• Fluent communication in Swedish and English
• Experience in payroll administration is a plus
• Thrives in a role with many contact points and varied tasks
