The Health Centre is present in all municipalities in the county and offers activities based on the four health dimensions - physical, mental, social, and existential health.

About the Role

We are looking for a Health Coordinator for a fixed-term vacancy with a special focus on children and young people. In this role, you motivate and support individuals to make sustainable behavioral changes for increased health and quality of life. A central part of the assignment is working with "Physical Activity on Prescription" (FaR), both individually and in groups.

You work with health pedagogical methods such as coaching conversations, lectures, and group activities. The content is adapted to goals and local needs, and may cover areas such as physical activity and joy of movement, eating habits, sleep, and recovery. The position also includes leading and conducting activities for children in adapted schools, such as "Funkis" sessions (sports for people with disabilities).

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people through conversations, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with schools, healthcare, sports clubs, and civil society.
• Plan, implement, and develop health-promoting activities.
• Lead group discussions, give lectures, and conduct simple training sessions.
• Conduct activities for children in adapted schools.

Qualifications

• Relevant education, such as Health Pedagogue, Health Developer, or equivalent.
• Experience in health and wellness work, preferably with children and young people.
• Ability to meet and work with people with various functional variations.

Merits

• Training in MI (Motivational Interviewing).
• Dance teacher education.
• Good computer skills (Office).
• Category B driver's license.

Working hours are scheduled during day and evening times.
