Academic Resource is now looking for a Verification Engineer for a Life Science company in Uppsala.

The position is initially a consulting assignment until the turn of the year, with the possibility of extension.

The work is full-time, on-site.

Start immediately. Location in Uppsala.

About the role:

In this role as Verification Engineer, you will work in the physical verification department within R&D.

The team is responsible for testing and verifying instruments, components, and sensors to ensure performance, functionality, and reliability.

This is a practical, hands-on role where testing, analysis, and problem-solving are at the center, and where you contribute throughout the entire product lifecycle from development to product maintenance.

This role gives you the opportunity to work closely with hardware, influence product quality, and contribute directly to the development of advanced systems within Life Science, in an environment that values structure, quality, and technical excellence.

About the team:

You will become part of a collaborative and cohesive team that works together to achieve its goals. The team consists of a broad mix of engineers, including technical physicists, mechanical engineers, electronic engineers, software developers, and civil engineers in biotechnology.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test and verification plans for components, modules, and complete systems
• Perform practical tests, including functional tests, mechanical tests, and chemical compatibility tests
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of deviations
• Collect, analyze, and interpret measurement data and document results in technical reports
• Contribute to the development of test methods, test rigs, and verification processes
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electronic, and software engineers to ensure robust and integrated solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical physics, mechanical engineering, electronics, or a related field
• Experience in testing and verification, preferably within product development
• Knowledge of measurement technology, data analysis, and test equipment
• Experience with programming (e.g., Python) is an advantage
• Good communication skills in both English and Swedish
