Sanda Education Centre in Huskvarna consists of two different school forms: Adapted Upper Secondary School and Upper Secondary School. Sanda has a clear sports profile where students combine their studies with sports. We have many successful students who compete in their sports at an elite level during their schooling, which we are very proud of. Your new job

The position is a temporary substitute role as an Upper Secondary School Teacher for the autumn term 2026, from August 10 to December 22.

Approximately 50 percent of the position consists of teaching in Spanish. The remainder of the position can be adapted with other tasks based on the applicant's competence and experience.

You will belong to the social sciences program but will teach across several of the school's programs. The role may also include mentoring students. Together with colleagues, you will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching, while working independently in your pedagogical assignment. Through an engaged and relationship-building approach, you will stimulate students' motivation, initiative, and responsibility for their own learning and development.

Your competence

We are primarily looking for you who have a teacher degree and teacher certification for upper secondary school in Spanish, or alternatively, you who are studying to become a teacher and/or have good knowledge of Spanish. Our sports profile requires you as a teacher to be flexible, as many of our students practice their sports at an elite level. We place great importance on social competence and personal suitability.

Our expectations of you as a teacher are that you:

• Are communicative and work with feedback as a natural part of the assignment
• Take into account students' different needs and prerequisites for learning
• Easily build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• Have the ability to interest, enthuse, and engage students
• See your teaching as part of the whole for the student to reach their goals
• Work unencumbered and use IT and digital tools as a natural part of teaching
