The Administrative Board's Office works to streamline operations to free up resources for the core activities of the other departments. The office works with a high degree of coordination and standardization to ensure a holistic view, efficiency, and quality. Another very important part of the operations is to develop and manage the municipality's common processes and working methods.

The entire global energy transition has its center in Ludvika, where Hitachi Energy's equipment, which supplies the world with electricity, is built here. This means our municipality is facing unique growth! In this development work, the Economic Affairs area plays an important role.
The Workplace
We are part of a large and complex operation and work from a societal perspective, with the best interests of the residents of Ludvika in focus. We are involved from start to finish; from a manager who has identified their needs in a budget to a final annual report.
We work together with our citizens and managers in the departments. We are driven by the desire to support and see others grow and develop.
We have carried out a change project reviewing the municipality's economic processes, and the focus is now on digitalization and the municipality's projects. We are 16 people in the economics department and are looking for you who enjoy challenging and developmental work with pleasant colleagues who are open and engaging. The Economic Affairs area consists of three parts: administrative support, accounting unit, and procurement and e-commerce. The position is located within the Administrative Support unit.
You will work in a team whose task is to provide the best service and support to the municipality's business and unit managers as well as project managers. You should function as a collaboration partner for managers and project managers, with a particular focus on economic aspects and project controlling. Your duties also include standard economic tasks such as budget, forecasts, and annual reports. Continuous change work is part of your role. You are also expected to work proactively with the development and follow-up of operations to contribute to streamlining processes and routines. Various types of economic investigations may also be included in the assignment. It is also important that you have the willingness and commitment to improve and develop processes and routines.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for you who have a bachelor's degree in economics at the university level
- A few years of experience from qualified economic work, for example within auditing, controlling, or a similar analytical role
- You can express yourself very well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing
- You have good IT skills and good knowledge of Excel
Personal qualities:
We are looking for you who have the ability to find solutions, enjoy challenges, and learning new things. It is important that you can collaborate and participate in different work groups, while at the same time being able to plan and carry out work independently according to the annual schedule.
You should also have good analytical skills with a structured working method and be development-oriented and open to change.
We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
